Sites in Indonesia are near the sunrise beginning of the track, those in Mexico at the sunset ending. Conditions in the Marianas Islands and Guam are slightly variable depending on the precise location with respect to local terrain.

These data apply to the time of the eclipse, give or take an hour or two.

Table 2: This table shows cloud cover and precipitation statistics for June at several locations in Mexico, at the end of the track. "Sunny" is defined as one-third or less cloud cover, "partly cloudy" as one to two-thirds, and "mostly cloudy" as the balance. Most of these locations are at high elevations in the mountains east of the end of the eclipse track.
